Advance Idaho Announces Fourth of July Parade

Advance Idaho, a local non-profit, provided a statement for the upcoming Latah County Independence Day Parade to be hosted here in Moscow. Read the full press release here.

Flags will be flying on Main Street this July 4th as the Latah County Independence Day Parade files down Moscow’s main street! Not only is it Independence Day weekend, but Idaho also celebrates her birthday on July 3rd, putting an extra emphasis on the holiday for Idahoans!

Festivities as well as the parade will commence at 10am on the north end of Main Street in Moscow, ID. Bring your chairs, your flags, and kick off your fourth of July celebrating what we love about our county and state with a classic small town American parade.

Tractor clubs, old car collectors, hand-crafted floats, marching bands, little league groups, local businesses, community groups, and more are all encouraged to get creative with this year’s theme of stars and stripes by participating in the parade!

A $500 prize will be awarded to the winning entry!

Stick around after the parade to view the classic cars at the Car Show in the Jackson Street lot!

And don’t worry, if you get hungry, go visit the food vendors for treats or a meal!

Participants, Volunteers, and Sponsors can sign up through June 26th at www.latah4thofjulyparade.com. There is no fee to enter.

The parade is being hosted by Advance Idaho, a non-profit entity seeking to enhance community and commerce throughout Latah County and Idaho.
