Rock Creek Fire

Potlatch, Idaho.

“Rock Creek” wildfire north of Moscow discovered at 5:42 a.m. on September 11th. Size: 5 acres. Cause: undetermined.

A reader submitted the photo below which they captured of the Rock Creek Fire at about 5:30 a.m., September 11th. The fire was approximately four acres at this time. After calling authorities, police and fire engines showed up fairly quickly, along with a member of the Idaho Department of Lands.
