Incident on Friday at 5th and Washington

Moscow, Idaho—On Friday about 1pm Moscow Police were called to the corner of 5th and Washington to investigate a report of a woman who was thought to be suicidal. According to Sergeant Blaker, who was on the scene, the woman was intoxicated. The officers determined that she was not a threat to herself or to others and they tried to walk away. The woman did not cooperate and she spit on two officers, which is a criminal offense. The officers proceeded to arrest her. They decided she needed to go to Gritman Medical Center to detox. The woman will be facing charges for assaulting officers.
