Video: full event video | Arrested for Singing with
This video covers the full event from multiple angles, mostly without interruption (some snipping of after-event footage).
Summary: three members of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho were arrested for “not social distancing” at a Flash Psalm Sing event put on by the church following the extension of the Emergency Mandate by Moscow Mayor Bill Lambert and the Moscow City Council.
Latah County has not had a single death or hospitalization since the beginning of the pandemic, and this peaceful singing protest was meant as a statement to say “enough.” Even though they said they would educate first, and only cite, they ended up choosing three people from the crowd and arrested them.
Gabriel Rench is a candidate for Latah County Commissioner. Sean and Rachel Bohnet were also arrested. Sean is a high school music teacher. All three were released later that night. Sean was teaching his students at 6 a.m. the next morning. Since yesterday, well over 1 million people watched the videos of the arrest, and multiple local and national news outlets are discussing it, including Fox News.
Well, “Moscow”… Explains how the cops would do something like this to its own citizens. Kind of ironic. a Communistic police maneuver in a small town with that name. We are losing our Rights faster than Catholic Rabbits breeding a family. Fight back Moscow. We’re getting close to The End.
So, American citizens were arrested by officers of law enforcement for exercising their rights, under the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, peaceably to assemble, and to freely exercise their religion as they saw fit.
Got it.
I wonder what oath the Moscow Police take.
Is there any update on what happened to the couple? And if the police are being sued?
Gir, see our latest post on Facebook for an update from one of the three arrested. Also, it is not public yet, but there is a good deal of grassroots action being prepared. Stay tuned.
