Local Businesses Hit with Vandalism

Moscow, Idaho — “I was saddened to see that our business was vandalized last night with spray paint,” Daniel Foucachon said on Monday after his business, Roman Roads Press, was vandalized with graffiti.

On Sunday night, Moscow was hit by vandalism when two local businesses were sprayed with graffiti.

Roman Roads Press on 3rd street was vandalized on Monday morning at 1:41 a.m.

Two hooded perpetrators were caught on a security camera painting an upside-down cross and the inscription “1312” (which stands for “All Cops are B*******”).

Foucachon went on to say, “It seems our business, a publisher of Christian curriculum, was targeted because we are a Christian business, and if that is indeed the case, then in obedience to Christ I rejoice (Matthew 5:11)!”

Foucachon filed a police report Monday morning.

He added, “If the two individuals who did this are willing to come forward, I would love to buy them a coffee and talk about it. If they are willing to wash the paint off, I won’t press charges.”

A second business on north Main street, Canon Press, was also hit with the words D*** City and a corresponding image of male anatomy.

Canon Press also filed a police report.
