Moscow Mountain Fire
August 31, 2021
Moscow, Idaho.
At around 2 p.m. we received report of a wild fire staring at the base of Moscow Mountain.
The following video shows the progress of the fire throughout the day.
There were 100-120 emergency personnel on the scene, two helicopters and five air tankers, representing multiple fire departments from the region, many of which are shown in the video. Some homes and structures were burned, but there is not a final count. The fire originated at a barn directly off of Idlers Rest Road shortly before 2 p.m. No livestock injured at this point. As of 11:30 p.m. Monday night, the fire is still not contained, though it has significantly slowed.

Thanks for the pictures Daniel. I would like to know the names of those who lost their properties. I would like to help them.
